Have you ever been so comfortable with friends and family, sitting on a deck, by a pool or under your favourite tree, just talking about life and inadvertently made a decision so important that it would change your life forever?
This is how Creative Cakes and Gifts was born. Sitting around lamenting upon the transition from fulltime work to fulltime motherhood and discussing how good it would be if we could engage in a hobby that allowed us to keep the kids close by and breakdown the walls that all too often build up around new mums and their newfound castles.
We decided that whilst flowers were special, childbirth was something that should be celebrated and gifts should be practical because goodness knows getting to the shops was now a chore. We sat down and discussed what a new mother really needed in the first days of bringing a newborn home and the words practical, yet stunning and sensual kept coming up. Mothers needed gifts they could use, that were visually spectacular and made the tired and often emotional mum feel as special and wanted as she really is.
Several years down the road, we refined our product range to something we feel very proud of. Through rigorous personal testing, product research and by speaking to customers and friends, Creative Cakes and Gifts goes to extraordinary lengths find out and deliver products and presents that Mum’s really need and look too good to unwrap.
Not wanting to be accused of being cheesy our ethos truly is “that our customers allow us to share in one of the most precious times in their lives and as such we make, deliver and treat their gifts as if we were receiving them and as if they were our family”.
From our humble beginnings to your new beginnings, we hope you enjoy the Creative Cakes and Gifts experience. If you need something special, something a little different and something to show that person in your life how much they really mean to you, we hope you find something in our range that fits just right. If not give us a ring and we’ll bake up a special treat just for one.
…. I wonder if our favourite tree is doing okay without us!
