Delivery
Creative Cakes and Gifts provide free delivery Australia wide. If ordered on a business day by 12:00 midday (Australian Eastern Standard Time), most orders will be delivered the following business day to most areas. Please allow an additional 1-2 days business days for remote areas. Please allow for interstate public holidays. Creative Cakes and Gifts are located in Brisbane.
Maternity Hospitals
If you are sending a gift to someone in hospital, please ensure that the recipient will still be there to receive the delivery. Please take note that many modern mums check-in under their maiden name. Please check this before ordering. All gifts are required to be addressed to the mother, not the baby, to comply with hospital administration policies and procedures. When addressing gifts please endeavour to include the entire hospital name, suburb, ward, room and bed number. If a redirection is required the associated delivery costs may be incurred by the customer.
Other Important Information
Creative Cakes and Gifts use reputable courier companies, however delays do occasionally occur which is out of our control. Every effort will be made to ensure your Creative Cake is delivered as soon as possible and we will email you a confirmation once we know your gift has arrived.
Authority to Leave on Premises without a Signature
Unless the gift recipient lives in a secure, gated community, we recommend that you give an “Authority to Leave” the article at the delivery address without a signature. New parents are often busy with their babies and even if home, may not be able to get to the door quickly enough to answer the courier driver’s knock. If no “Authority to Leave” is given, the courier driver will leave a calling card and the item will be returned to the depot. A re-delivery charge may be required by the purchaser if this is the case.
Should you choose not to give an "Authority to Leave" at the recipient's address, additional fees incurred for more than 1 redelivery attempt may be passed on.
We track all orders to ensure that your gift is delivered in a timely manner and we will send you a confirmation email once we receive notification of delivery.
Refund Policy
Creative Cakes and Gifts are happy to refund the full purchase price, minus a set delivery and administration fee of $20, for any reason whatsoever. Refunds will be issued once the product is returned in full, without damage.
Weekend and Public Holiday Delivery
Our normal courier services do not deliver on weekends or public holidays however we do have a specialised courier service which, for an additional fee, will deliver on weekends or public holidays. Please call us for a quote (approximately $150 - $200 extra for a “next flight” delivery to anywhere in Australia).
Deliveries to New Zealand
We can send our Nappy Cakes to New Zealand for a reasonable cost through Australia Post. Many of our one tier cakes cost approximately AUD$35 for Air Mail (10-12 working days). Please contact us on 1300 738 210 if you would like to arrange a delivery to New Zealand as this cannot be done on the website.
Other Overseas Destinations
Please contact us to discuss your options. Most other countries delivery cost approximately $45 for sea mail (up to 3 months) and approximately $95 for air mail (10 – 12 working days).
